Jason Wu Resort 2013

What happens when you decide to portray the interaction of man made objects versus nature… JASON WU’s Amazing 2013 resort collection is what happens.  For resort 2013 Wu studied the work of artist Mike Libby whose art consists of insect bodies such as wasps, beetles, scorpions and butterflies and old watch parts. The collection consisted of cocktail dress and and hand bags shaped like insects bodies and basic tops covered in Swarovski crystal clusters. Bugs may have been the concept behind this collection but every look maintains Wu’s tasteful lady like esthetic.
